Aberdeen Township to pick up branches

The Aberdeen Township Public Works Department will start picking up branches that are down due to Hurricane Irene, starting Tuesday September 6Th.  We request that all residences with tree parts to dispose of have them placed out at the curb at that time and we will work our way through town.

The second part of Hurricane Irene is expected to impact our area very shortly with high winds and heavy rain.  Residents are advised to remain inside due to potential hazards from fallen trees, downed power lines, and severe flooding.  Travel is discouraged due to the potential hazards.  In case of emergency dial 911.

In the event of a power outage call JCP&L at 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877).  Please do not call police headquarters for power restoration information.
