HURRICANE  IRENE

JCP&L has indicated that there are crews working in our area, but that power outages may last several more days.

Below is a list of food stores that will distribute ice and water.  RESIDENTS  need to
present a drivers  license for $5.00 worth of ice and/or water.  A limited amount of water
will be available at the Monmouth County Office of Emergency Management parking lot
located at 300 Halls Mill Rd., Freehold, NJ  07728 after 4:00 PM on Monday August 29th.

Brush pickup will begin on September 6th.  To report a power outage call JCP&L at 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877).  Please do not call police headquarters for power restoration information. 
The Red Cross will be serving heater meals at Middletown High School North on Tindall Road, Middletown from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM this evening.
Residents are requested to be considerate of their neighbors and limit generator use to reasonable hours unless needed for a medical reason.
