6. NEW BUSINESS:
A. ORDINANCE NO. 1-2007 INTRODUCTION
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES AND WAGES AND FRINGE BENEFITS OF VARIOUS OFFICIALS, OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ABERDEEN, COUNTY OF MONMOUTH, STATE OF NEW JERSEY.
B. CONSENT AGENDA - All items listed under 6B. are considered to be routine by the Township Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion on these items. If discussion is desired, that item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and will be considered separately.
1. RESOLUTION NO. 2007-31 - BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council that it hereby authorizes the appropriation transfers for year 2006.
2. RESOLUTION NO. 2007-32 - BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council that it hereby authorizes the attached list of State Contract vendors.
3. RESOLUTION NO. 2007-33 BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council that the following members are appointed to the Enviromental and Shade Tree Advisory Board.
4. RESOLUTION NO. 2007-34 BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council that the following members are appointed to the Aberdeen Historical Commission.
5. RESOLUTION NO. 2007-35 BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council that Daniel McCarthy, Esq. Of the firm Rogut McCarthy Troy, LLC is hereby appointed as Township Attorney for 2007.
6. RESOLUTION NO. 2007-36 BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council that it is hereby committed to the redevelopment of the former Matawan Borough Water Facility site for the purpose of constructing age-restricted affordable housing and a municipal senior center.
7. RESOLUTION NO. 2007-37 BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council that it is hereby committed to the redevelopment of the former South River Metal Products site for the purpose of constructing age-restricted affordable housing and a municipal senior center.
8. RESOLUTION NO. 2007-38 BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council that it hereby authorizes the Township Manager, Mayor and Clerk to executive contract between Aberdeen Township and AFSCME Local 3435.
9. EXECUTIVE SESSION RESOLUTION - BE IT RESOLVED that the general public shall be excluded from discussion held during executive session - Contractual
