                        AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED “AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES AND WAGES AND FRINGE BENEFITS OF VARIOUS OFFICIALS, OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ABERDEEN, COUNTY OF MONMOUTH, STATE OF NEW JERSEY”

 

          B.           ORDINANCE NO. 2-2008 – PUBLIC HEARING

                        AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ABERDEEN, CHAPTERS II ADMINISTRATION AND CHAPTER XI HEALTH

 

7.      NEW BUSINESS:

 

             A.        ORDINANCE NO. 3-2008 – INTRODUCTION

                        CALENDAR YEAR 2008 ORDINANCE TO EXCEED THE MUNICIPAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION LIMITS AND TO ESTABLISH A CAP BANK PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:4-45.14

 

            B.        ORDINANCE NO. 4-2008 – INTRODUCTION

                        AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP, COUNTY OF MONMOUTH, NEW JERSEY TO ELOISE F. SCHANCK

 

 

            C.         CONSENT AGENDA - All items listed under 7C are considered to be routine by the Township Council and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate discussion on these items.  If discussion is desired, that item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and will be considered separately.

1.      RESOLUTION NO. 2008-34 – BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council that it hereby encourages the Board of Chosen Freeholders to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment for the Township of Aberdeen.

2.      RESOLUTION NO. 2008-35 – BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council that it hereby designates Robert Brady as Recycling Coordinator and endorses the submission of the recycling tonnage grant application.

3.      RESOLUTION NO. 2008-36 – BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council that it hereby withdraws from contract with the Hazlet Health Department.

4.      RESOLUTION NO. 2008-37 – BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council that it hereby authorizes transfers in the 2007 Current Fund Budget.

5.      RESOLUTION NO. 2008-38 – BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council that it hereby opposes Governor Corzine's current plan to increase tolls on the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike and Atlantic City Expressway.

6.      EXECUTIVE SESSION RESOLUTION - BE IT RESOLVED that the general public shall be excluded from discussion held during executive session –   Personnel and Negotiations
