Men’s Lloyd Rd. Basketball Championship Game is on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 8:00 P.M. to be held at Lloyd Rd. School Gymnasium.

            The Department of Public works will be picking up Section I’s brush and branches the week of April 24th. Section II will be picked up the week of May1st. We ask that residents have their branches at the curb on the Monday morning of their pick-up week.

             Brush and branches must be tied in small bundles no longer than 4 feet, with each branch no wider than 3 inches in diameter. Brush and branches may also be dropped off at the Public Works Garage on Lenox Rd. off of Cliffwood Ave., Monday through Saturday, from 7 am – 3 pm.

             

            All Recycling:

            Recycling is not only environmentally responsible, but provides Aberdeen Township with opportunities to receive grants and rebates which, ultimately improves service and reduces costs for residents.

            Each year, the Township forwards a tonnage report to the State of New Jersey. The more we recycle, the more funding we become eligible for.

            Please Note:

            Residents of condominium and apartment complexes, your garbage is not picked up by Aberdeen Township's contracted hauler. Please, contact your Homeowner's Association with any questions you may have.

            WHAT CAN BE RECYCLED?:

            All cans, plastic containers, bottles, jars, cardboard, newspaper, office paper and mixed paper.

            WHAT SECTION ARE YOU?:

            Section I includes:

            Cliffwood Beach, Cliffwood, River Gardens, Oakshades, Freneau and Heritage Heights

            Section II includes:

            Strathmore, High School Area, Woodbrook Drive, Randall Way, Storyland, Santa Fe and Heather Glenn

            Residents can also drop their recyclables off
            Monday thru Saturday from 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at:

            Acceptable Items at Public Works Garage:

            • All cans, plastic containers, bottles, jars, cardboard, newspapers, office paper and mixed paper.
            • Electronics including; TV's, computers, laptops, power tools, microwaves, stereos, sound systems, fans, camcorders and vacuums.

            Bulk Pick-Up:

            The following items cannot be included with your regular garbage pick-up and require a special bulk pick-up:

            • Refrigerators
            • Air Conditioners
            • Stoves
            • Washers & Dryers
            • Water Heaters
            • Furniture
            • Carpets
            • Certain building materials and other bulk materials

            Special bulk pick-ups can be arranged by calling Surburban Disposal at 973-227-7020, whom will also inform you of all special requirements. There is NO FEE for this services. Do not place items at curb until the night before your pick-up.
