ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP REMINDS RESIDENTS OF HALLOWEEN CURFEW

ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP (10/22/09) – Aberdeen Township is reminding residents that a curfew extending to all children under the age of 17 has been established for the evenings of Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31.  The curfew begins at 8:30 p.m. and ends at 6:00 a.m. the following mornings.

“There are certain exemptions to the curfew ordinance,” explained Chief of Police John Powers. "Children under the age of 17 may be exempt from this policy if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian while trick-or-treating, are traveling to or from employment, are attending a school or religious activity, or if their other activity is supervised by an adult."
