The goal of the Aberdeen Health Department is to improve the health status of our community through preventive health, education and environment control.
The personnel administering these public health programs are qualified by standards established by the NJ State Health Department. Recognized public health activities are broken down into five major areas: Administration, Communicable Disease, Maternal and Child Health, Adult Health Services, and Environmental Health.
