ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP POLICE
                           PRESS RELEASE

            Aberdeen Township Police are investigating the burglary of a home on Imbrook Lane on Wednesday January 18, 2012.  Entry was gained through a rear window sometime between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.  A quantity of jewelry was taken.  Earlier in the day a resident of Ivyhill Drive reported that two men came to her door asking to check for leaks.  They were described as possibly Hispanic, one wearing a dark-colored hoodie, baseball cap, and jeans; the other wearing a gray hoodie and jeans.  Responding officers were unable to locate the subjects.  Detectives are also investigating a similar burglary of a residence on Idlewild Lane reported December 24, 2011.

Residents are urged to report any suspicious activity.  Anyone with information should contact the detective bureau at 732-566-2054.
