ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP RECREATION DEPARTMENT SCHEDULES WINERY/ATLANTIC CITY TRIP FOR SENIORS
ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP (5/6/08) – The Aberdeen Township Recreation Department has scheduled a senior citizen trip on Wednesday, July 9 to the Renault Winery in Galloway Township, N.J., and to an Atlantic City casino.
The trip is open to Aberdeen seniors age 55 and older. Non-residents can sign up after the May 27th resident deadline, if space is available.
The cost of the trip, $21.00 for residents and $26.00 for non-residents, includes a family style lunch at the winery and transportation.
Buses will depart from the parking lot of Temple Shalom, located on Ayrmont Lane and Church Street, at 8:45 a.m. and from the A&P shopping center on Highway 35 in Cliffwood at 9:15 a.m. Busses will return home at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Checks should be made payable to “Aberdeen Recreation.” Township seniors who are members of the VFW Senior Citizen Club are asked to sign up at the club meeting. Non-members may sign up at the Recreation Department Office located at the Aberdeen Township Municipal Building or through the mail. All trips are non-refundable.
