ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP ANNOUNCES FALL/WINTER RECREATION SCHEDULE

ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP (10/19/07) – The Aberdeen Township Recreation Department is currently offering the following programs for adults and children: 

Men’s Open Gym, Matawan Regional High School, Mondays (ages 18 and over) and Thursdays (ages 30 and over), 7:00 p.m - 9:30 p.m. Fee is $30 residents, $45 non-residents.

Men’s Open Soccer, ages 18 and over, Lloyd Road School, Mondays, 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Fee is $30 for residents and $45 for non-residents.

Instructional Basketball, ages 8-12, Lloyd Road School, Mondays, 6:00 p.m. -7:30 p.m. Fee is $15.

Tumbling & Elementary Skills (elementary school gym games), ages 5-10, Lloyd Road School, Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Fee is $15.

High School Open Gym, (Open to Matawan Regional High School students only), Matawan High School, Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.  No charge.

Programs begin the week of October 29 and will run through April 2008. There is no registration deadline, with applications accepted at anytime.  There will be no programs when schools are closed or being used for a school-related activity.  Also, if schools close for any reason such as inclement weather, there will be no programs that evening.
