LAW ENFORCEMENT EXAM APPLICATIONS
AVAILABLE AT ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL BUILDING
--Residents seeking positions with Township’s Police Department
must take exam
ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP, N.J.
(2/24/06) –Applications for the New
Jersey Department of Personnel’s 2006 Law Enforcement examination
can be obtained at The Aberdeen Township Municipal Building. The
exam is tentatively scheduled for Fall 2006.
“Aberdeen residents who wish to pursue a rewarding career
with the Aberdeen Township Police Department must take this exam,” asserted
Aberdeen Deputy Chief John Powers. He added that the department will
have several openings coming up.
Statewide, title areas
covered by the examination are Municipal Police Officer, County
Police Officer, Park Police Officer, Campus
Police Officer, Police Officer Recruit Human Services, Police Officer
Palisades Interstate Park, Sheriff’s Officer, County Corrections
Officer, Correction Officer Recruit, Correction Officer Recruit Juvenile
Justice, and State Park Police Officer Trainee.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old as of March 31, 2006 and be high school
or vocational high school graduates, or possess an approved High School Equivalent
Certificate by June 30, 2006. Applications are available 24-hours a day at
the Aberdeen Township Police Headquarters at One Aberdeen Square.

in the Special Announcement Section. The closing date for applications
is March 31, 2006.
