Communicable Disease

The Health Department maintains surveillance over communicable diseases. Outbreaks are investigated and records are maintained on disease deemed reportable by the State. Clinics are conducted for Influenza, TB Testing and Childhood Immunization.

Rabies Program

The Rabies program includes animal control services, free rabies clinics and mandatory licensing of dogs and cats over six months old. (Licenses are renewable each January). The license fee is reduced for dogs and cats that are spayed or neutered. Please bring or mail proof with the application.
